COVID VACCINE UPDATE
COVID BOOSTER & FLU VACCINES
You will be pleased to hear the Covid Booster & Flu Vaccination clinics for our patients from Courtyard, Southwater, Cowfold and Rudgwick surgeries are being held and organised by our Horsham Collaborative PCN at the local Horsham venue Christ's Hospital Bluecoat Sports Hall RH13 0YB, which has over 250 free parking spaces for our patients and is also a 5 minute walk from Christs Hospital train station.
We have a plan to ensure you have the fastest possible access to both your Covid Booster and Flu Vaccine, as per Government guidelines for all over 50’s and eligible patients.
Following the Government’s and the UK Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation advice we will be co administering the Covid and Flu vaccine at the same time as this will reduces travel and has shown to be beneficial as long as it does not substantially delay your Flu Vaccine.
The current guidance states the Booster vaccine must be given 6 months after your second Covid Vaccine.
We will be holding these clinics all day on Fridays and Saturday mornings, starting from October.
Should you require transport to Christs Hospitals Venue please contact CT Sussex 01403 754206, this service is available to and from your home address and has Wheelchair access, alternatively patients can call West Sussex Community Hub (Covid) 033 022 27980 to find the nearest scheme contact.
We will be sending out invitations to allow patients to book their vaccine shortly. There is a lot of administration to complete so please wait for your text message and do not call the surgery.
We look forward to seeing you all soon.

About the practice
The practice has been in existence since 1928 and joined the NHS on its inception in 1948.
Now in its third premises, it has never moved from the Springfield Road and London Road area of Horsham. The practice operates from a purpose built surgery, which opened in November 1989, and was the recipient of a prestigious architectural award.
We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.
Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.
Partners in Care
Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction
